Dear Neighbors,
I would like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Stacy Warkentine and I am the Director at St. Peter’s Preschool. I have been with St. Peter’s preschool for three years and what an exciting, amazing, and inspiring time it has been. I’ve gotten the opportunity to get to know our children and our families, our teachers, the office staff and some of the church family. I feel so privileged to have been given this opportunity. As a Director of a smaller preschool I am allowed such a unique perspective. I get to spend so much time in the classroom and see everything first hand. I am involved in all things pre-school, not just the administrative piece, and I love it!
After I had just started at St. Peter’s, our children made me pictures for teacher appreciation day. In their drawings most of them referred to me as the paparazzi around St. Peter’s (in their own toddler way) since one of the hats I wear is photograper. This past year they drew pictures of me in such a different way: hand holder, tower builder, marble master, tea party hostess, play-doh queen, car racer, librarian, gardener, musician, scientist, and if I am lucky enough – teacher. I am so blessed that I get to do what I do everyday!
I truly feel like St. Peter’s is a family and I am very grateful to be a part of it.
I encourage you to view our website to find out more about what makes St. Peter’s so wonderful. I would love to answer any questions you might have and schedule a time for you to come visit us!
Kindly,
Stacy Warkentine
